Sabaki River Camp and Cottageat Sabaki River Estuary, KenyaVolunteer Researcher Needed !!!
The Sabaki River Cottage and Camp often hosts researchers and there are always studies for which volunteer researchers are needed. Current bird studies monitor the comings and goings of migrant sea and shorebirds, as well as the annual cycles of land and pond species. Individual research is encouraged. The estuary has been designated an IBA (Important Bird Area) and many kinds of baseline information is being gathered to aid in the development of a management plan. Volunteers with interest in various natural sciences can initiate valuable research at this little studied site.
